On the 22nd of June 2023, a notice got placed on the building by the Limerick City & County Council (LCCC). It is a notice of entry of the land. It says the LCCC entered the property because they were in the opinion that it fell under the definition of what is a Derelict Site according to the law, and that the said land has been entered in the Derelict Site Register available publicly on their website.
The notice was accompanied by a map highlighting the limits of the site.

In February 2024, the LCCC taped a Notice of Valuation of the land on the door of the building informing the owner that LCCC had determined a market value of said land and that the Derelict Site Levy of 7% of the value of the land will be charged on January 1st.
The notice is also accompanied by a map showing the limits of the said land.

On January 28, 2025, a new notice appeared on the door. This time it is a Demand Notice under the derelict site act. LCCC is making an official Demand for Payment of the Derelict Site Levy for the Year 2024.
As mentioned in the Notice of Valuation, the levy amount is 7% of the market value.

All the notices since 2023 are still on the doors of the building. Only the map of the dereliction notice from 2023 has disappeared between March 9 and April 20, 2025.

All the notices are addressed to “The Owner” which implies that LCCC does not know the owner of the building.
