The House

Derelict site number DS-040-21.

Address: 19 Clare Street, Limerick.

Tile: Ceramic, white stoneware. Coloured glazes. “I won’t stand much longer”.

This building is a 3 storey city house. It used to be a Bed & Breakfast called Parkside. It has a garden at the rear and an extension as well. There is a gate to access the garden on Lelia Street.

This house is falling apart today. It entered the register of derelict site in 2021.

Limerick City and County Council acquired the house in 2023 and sold it back on the private market as it is in 2024.

As per April 2025, the house is as you can see on the pictures. A window is missing and the upper level has been exposed to the weather and the elements. Some other windows have been left opened.
